José Mocito

I'm currently pursuing a PhD degree in Informatics at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. My advisors are Prof. Luís Rodrigues and Prof. Hugo Miranda.

I'm also a researcher at the INESC-ID Lisboa research unit and member of the Distributed Systems Group.

Research

Currently my research is focused on scalable communication protocols for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). I've also been working on distributed systems, namely in database replication, group communication and total order protocols.
